关于此电子书

Smart and witty, Elizabeth Bennett desires a marriage for love regardless, of wealth and station. Her dreams of finding a man who will accept her for who she is, not who society and social status demand, may be doomed to failure as her mother plots to marry all of her daughters to men who will advance their social position regardless of whether there is love involved or not.

Fitzwilliam Darcy, a confirmed bachelor meets his match when Elizabeth Bennett is introduced to him by his best friend, Charles Bingley. Their relationship starts off on the wrong foot and with each meeting he seems to dig himself deeper into the weeds. In addition to his own failure with one of the Bennett daughters, he also conspires to 'save' his friend Charles from the clutches of Elizabeth’s sister, Jane.

Elizabeth has feelings for Mr. Darcy and Mr. Darcy has feeling for Elizabeth, however outside forces and their own stubborn pride keeps getting in the way.

Find yourself spellbound by the interaction between Elizabeth and Mr. Darcy, holding your breath each time they stumble and cheering for them to discover the truth of their feelings for each other. From moment to moment, as family, friends, and unseen circumstances bring them together and pull them apart, you will find yourself turning the pages in anticipation of the ultimate reward...true love!

作者简介

Jane Austen (December 16, 1775 – July 18, 1817) was an English novelist with a unique voice and writing style. Her novels, including Pride and Prejudice, were written with sharp irony, realism, and social observations regarding a woman’s dependence on marriage in the 2nd half of the 18th century. During her lifetime, she gained little fame for her novels, which were published anonymously, and the support of her family was critical to her growth as a writer. Credited with introducing her to the public at large, her nephew’s A Memoir of Jane Austen was released in 1869. This eventually gained her fame in the academic world as a great English writer and secured her place as one of the most widely read novelists in English literature; sadly this fame came after her death.
