A horribly written novel. The storyline makes no sense. What is with the random ninja's. There are things mentioned that are never explained oh she just randomly wants to cut herself 7 times with very little explanation other than that the action does not serve her personality or character. Most of the writing serves no purpose.I suppose if chopping up Austen's novel and slipping snippets was acceptable we would have thousands of worthless sheets of paper out there.

I was looking forward to this read so much. I actually hurried through the last book I was reading to get to it. I was disappointed unfortunately. I hoped that it would be a nice change of pace from the original, but it seemed more like a cheap ploy to attract readers. The zombie related story was just peppered throughout an already existing book. I may finish it...if I can't think of anything better to do.

I read Little Vampire Women many years ago and again just recently. I loved it very much. Because of that, I thought that I would love this as well. I can't say I hated it, but I can't say I loved it either. It was decent. I love how it both followed the original story and deviated to factor in the zombie part. I'm actually curious about the movie adaptation that was made from this. (More on blog: Star's Books & Tea)
