Kay's at a restaurant to meet with her ex when she sees HIM. When they make eye contact, she literally can't move. Hudson sees her and knows right then, MATE. Perfection. As they talk, they both realize that she has an upcoming interview at his firm and he assures her that he won't influence it in any way. When he offers her a night of passion it's something she's never done before and she thinks, why not? She thinks it's a one time thing and soon finds out the difference between a caring and unselfish lover and sex. (her ex was the latter) The next morning when she enters his bathroom , she's looking for soap when she finds, well, everything a bachelor needs for fun. After all the things he said to her last night? She leaves without a word. Hudson wakes to an empty bed. Did she think it was just sex? When he remembers she has an interview coming up, he's determined to earn her trust and her love. Kidnapping, intrigue and family secrets are all a part of this shifter tale.
