When Beth's father comes back in the house after what she thought was an earthquake, he is convinced the trembles came from a spaceship in their cornfield.
That same night Beth goes out to investigate, yet she finds nothing but a desolated and dark field.
However, the next night the same thing happens again, the house starts to shake.
