Enter another new seventh grader, Alexa. She's smart-alecky, definitely not nice, and she's got the power, too. Just like Haley, Alexa is psychokinetic. I read this graphic novel when I was growing up and enjoyed it so I decided to purchase it to relive that nostalgia but I think some pages are missing? Some other sites list it with 116 pages, not 112 and the ending seems different from what I remember. Other than that, excellent read.

About the author

The author of three best-selling series for young readers, Tony Abbott didn't actually turn to writing full-time until 1994. He has always been involved with the world of writing, however, from his time at the University of Connecticut - where he graduated with a degree in English Literature - to his work with a variety of specialty bookstores, a university library, and an Internet book and magazine publisher. He shares a love of fantasy and adventure with his readers, with whom he maintains contact through his many school visits; Abbott has also taught writing workshops for all elementary grades.Chynna Clugston is a multiple Harvey and Eisner Award nominee. She is a big fan of British Culture, including mod fashion, Britpop, and slang. If she didn't think of California, where she was born and raised, as the coolest place in the world, she'd probably be living in London. Chynna's artistic influences include Evan Dorkin, Dan Clowes and Rumiko Takahashi. She has been brainstorming book ideas since she was a teenager in high school. Some of Chynna's creations include the popular Blue Monday and Scooter Girl comic series. Chynna has also worked on Buffy the Vampire Slayer comics and Marvel Comics collections.Chynna's first title for Scholastic's Graphix imprint is Queen Bee. Queen Bee is a funny but stinging look at the social hive of middle school girls, where only one queen bee can rule! Former geek Haley Madison spends the summer reinventing herself-and trying to control those problematic little secret powers of hers. She soon meets another new girl, Alexa Harmon, and they soon find out they have much more in common than they ever thought. Chynna Clugston is currently living in San Diego, California.
