I've read this book at least ten times, Rachael is so honest, brutally at times but so brave of her to share her story,so happy she is in active recovery. To the people who are saying she wrote lies for sympathy,no she didn't I completely believe everything she said and unless you've been through it you can't judge. Rachael is a true 'Heroine' and i wish her continuing success in her recovery and all she does.

Thankyou... A painful yet helpful reminder for those who have loved ones which suffer from heroin addiction that you can't save a person but don't lose hope... As I see it drug addiction is a mental illness like other compulsive behaviors and one which the sufferer has to truly want too and learn too free oneself from... Loved it... especially the last chapter... 😊

An horrowing and honest account of heroin addiction at it's worst. Serious and doesn't drag on, a page turner. Very inspirational for one struggling with addiction or an addicted loved one. Powerfully insightful. The only thing that struck me sad is out of all the "thank yous" in the end credits, Ms. Keogh neglected to thank the court Judge who expunged her record of all the terrible crimes she had committed. Did I just miss it or something...? It seemed a bit cold.
