Fortune's Pawn was a great sci-fi adventure story. High energy from the start and excitement that doesn't let go. Devi and her armour have been a big hit with both me and my girlfriend, and the story ends with plenty of promise for the sequel. Highly recommended.

Its an amazing story with a great cast of characters and a brilliant writing style. The main character, Devi, is complex and imperfect and awesome. She is driven, tough, smart and above all has a very real feeling presence. If you love action sci fi, this book is for you. Its taking will power to write a review rather than launching into the next book right now

A little brainless although enough excitement to provide some escapist fun

Rachel Bach grew up wanting to be an author and a supervillain. Unfortunately, supervillainy proved surprisingly difficult to break into, so she stuck to writing and everything worked out great. She currently lives in Athens, GA with her family.
