Have enjoyed this entire series from start to finish. very well written and laid out. The only thing wrong with Alpha was that Rachel Vincent left too many things unresolved. She is a talented writer to write a series this good the first time out. Only to blow the ending of Alpha. I honestly feel that Faythe deserves at least one more story from her perspective. Hopefully the Wildcat spin-off will give us some of the answers her readers are hoping for. And that the Wildcat books will help keep Vincents shifter world thriving. The ending of Alpha is the reason I can't give this book and the other 5 in the series a full 5 stars.

Have several boxes of tissue within reach. Also be prepared to be stunned...it's the last book! She says at the front that she won't do anymore. Gotta say, kinda mad there won't be another, especially after finishing this one...there's more there we need to know!!

Ended poorly. Writing has such potential, but hated Faythe so much I just couldn't care.
