A Gift Intended is a delightfully witty, clean, charming, Christmas tale. I thoroughly enjoyed this short (75 pages) look at Elizabeth Bennet and Fitzwilliam Darcy’s romance. I enjoyed the more formal ways of speaking, but nothing else revealed a time period. This is the perfect afternoon escape read. Falling snow, a cozy, throw, a cup of hot chocolate and maybe a fire would be the perfect way to read Ms. Ayala’s take on Pride and Prejudice!
