About this ebook

A lakeside summer, a new beginning…

Samantha Fremont has been struggling with the weight of her mother’s expectations for years. But now that her mother has passed away, it’s time for Sam to be bold and finally establish the fashion design business she’s always dreamed of. And the perfect opportunity has fallen into her lap. Her friend’s getting married and has asked Sam to create her wedding dress…if only she can avoid the bride’s infuriating brother, who’s temporarily the boy next door.

Ian Summerhill knows a sabbatical in Haven Point is exactly what he and his children need to recover from their mother’s death. His romantic relationship with his ex-wife may have ended years ago, but caring for her throughout her illness broke his heart. All he wants is to watch his little sister walk down the aisle and to see his kids smile again. And somehow his lovely new neighbor is instrumental in both. But as their uneasy truce blossoms into a genuine friendship and more, Ian has obligations in England he can’t ignore—and a secret that threatens the fragile trust he and Sam have built.

Return to Hope’s Crossing this Christmas in New York Times bestselling author RaeAnne Thayne’s latest heartwarming story of matchmaking at the holidays, All is Bright!

Ever since I was introduced to the town of Haven Point, I have wanted to live there! This is the last book in the series and I am so sad! I will miss it and the people so much. I've been to Idaho myself many time but try as I might, I just haven't found this town! It sounds like one of the most beautiful places ever! The people are wonderful too. This story belongs to Samantha and her temporary neighbor, Ian. Sam's mother has been dead for several months but she still can't forget all the critical things she's said all her life. It's hard to forget the weight of her mother's expectations for her and all the ways she controlled her life. Now it's time to live her own life but how will she do that exactly? One day she finds she has a temporary neighbor from England with two adorable children. Ian and his kids are just what Sam needs to step outside herself. Sam is a wedding dress designer and Ian is a fish biologist! How opposite is that??!! Ian is only there for his sister's wedding and then it's back to England. His ex-wife soured him on relationships but boy is Sam testing him in that department! I absolutely loved the relationship between Ian and Sam - both guy shy of relationships yet so suited for each other! Throw in some puppies and adorable children and you have a fantastic story! I loved this book!

Summer at Lake Haven by RaeAnne Thayne Samantha Fremont and Ian Summerhill are the main characters with Ian's children Amelia and Thomas. Ian and Samantha meet when he rents the house next door while in town for his sisters wedding. They fight falling in love for her because she is just beginning to feel freedom and for him because he is getting ready to have to take over the family title and he doesn't want to have Samantha move from her hometown of Haven Point. I like how they compromised and the fact that they fell in love. I really enjoyed this book. It has a great story line and can be read without reading the others in the series.

Very enjoyable. This is a heartwarming and touching story of two people who feel trapped in the lives they have until they find each other and learn that love can change everything. The writing is superb and you will fall in love with Ian's kids just like I did. Oh and did I mention there are puppies!! A nerdy professor with an accent no less, cute kids, and adorable puppies. What better recipe for a terrific romance is there? Definitely a book I recommend to everyone.
