A chat with Raghav....

Q-Who is your favorite sci-fi or fantasy fiction writer?

A- I would have to say Eoin Colfer. I like his simpler writing style and yet his books have all the elements that are required in a fantasy fiction novel. I have read his book series of Artemis Fowl.

Q- Which is your favorite novel by Eoin Colfer and why?

A- My favorite novel from the Artemis Fowl series is the arctic incident because of how mysterious they made the whole story. Love the big reveal at the end of the story.

Q- What is your aim with your book series "Kid on the hill"?

A- My aim is for people to dive right into the story and I don't wan them to go through unnecessary written pages that stretch the story. Or I didn't include a lot of unnecessary characters and dialogues. I want the readers to imagine the dialogues and how the environment of a character or characters is based on a few details from around them. Above all I don't want them to know the actual genre before they dive into my novel. Will reveal the complete genre in the second part, maybe.

Q- How many Good reviews vs the bad reviews have you received for your first novel?

A- I have received mostly good reviews and 1 or 2 reviews out of 100 where they did not understand the story and wanted more details out of each scene. But most of the people loved the story. Which is what I wanted. Vindication! feels good.
