About this ebook

This incredible story is about a nine year old boy who attends public school. When Michael was three years old he was diagnosed with autism. Michael was smart, but he didn't learn as quickly as other children his age. In fact, one of Michael's previous teachers thought that he should go to a different classroom, a place for kids with different learning abilities. During recess, Michael would play by himself because he didn't know how to interact with others. By the end of third grade, he met a kid named Larry. Larry was into sports and loved to play Larry thought Michael was "weird" because he would cover his ears and play by himself. Michael's "uniqueness" often times, made it difficult to make friends. Larry, on the other hand, was sociable. These two boys learned so much from each other. Michael's disorder did not interrupt the boys bonding time, it only complimented the start of a new friendship.
