About this ebook

In this New York Times bestselling memoir, Ray Lewis—legendary Baltimore Ravens linebacker and one of the greatest defensive players of his generation—holds nothing back on the state of football as well as his troubled childhood, his rise to athletic greatness, the storm that threatened to ruin his NFL career, and the devastating injury that nearly cost him a final moment of glory.

Ray Lewis is undeniably one of the biggest names in football—not only for his seventeen years in the NFL, but also for the dramatic events that nearly brought his career to a halt in 2000. In his memoir, Lewis shares honest accounts of his difficult childhood and delves into the anguish and controversy that he found away from the game. But these heartbreaks gave him the courage to trust in God and continue his dream to play for the NFL and win the Super Bowl.

From a rookie player to a football veteran, Lewis has experienced everything imaginable during his football career, and has become one of the best defensive players in the history of the NFL. I Feel Like Going On is the story of his incredible journey, and a sincere look at the most popular sport in America from one of football’s most revered players.

he got away with murder, he is a thug and will always be a thug..!!! They say everything in sports is forgiven of winners, from Kobe Bryant and Ben Roethlisberger all the way back to Ty Cobb. But the story of the halo that has come to rest upon the head of Ray Lewis is more than that. The man defies explanation and logic. In June 2000 Fulton County Superior Court Judge Alice D. Bonner approved a deal allowing Lewis to avoid murder charges and jail time by pleading guilty to misdemeanor obstruction of justice. Lewis was sentenced to 12 months’ probation, the maximum sentence for a first-time offender. As part of his sentence he agreed to testify against two co-defendants. They didnt just lock him up for nothing, and The average "joe" would have not had the chance for a "deal". To this day, no one has served time for the stabbing deaths of 24-year-old Richard Lollar and 21-year-old Jacinth Baker.. He should have been proscuted!!! Anyone else would have..This calls for question. I feel this is why he is humble, he knows he was lucky!! Once again, the police did their job locking him up, but the Judge, as do most, slapped him on the rist. Why is this man praised as a legend? Why was a deal made? was the Judge paid off? These are questions that should be answered. And Baltimore loves him. He was locked up with a murder charge people. Is this a role model?

Ray Lewis has always been a hero and a source of motivation and inspiration for me at times when I have struggled. A man rocked by the toughest of times, shows us how hardship in life molds our character and the greatest of men have felt the stinging of life's worst pain. Ray Lewis is a stunning example of how to walk your path in truth and light. Such a great book, with so many great lessons. Ray, wish you and your family balance, wholeness, and joy always.
