'I'm in trouble. Something terrible has happened ... I didn't know who else to call'

An unexpected phone call from three thousand miles away.
A voice he hadn't heard in more than five years.
A desperate cry for help that he couldn't ignore.

With a modern day 'war on drugs' story this lacked the interest levels engendered by the historically backed Templar novels, which were excellent. I still enjoyed the book and am pleased to have kept up with the central characters from the Templar books but it is 'just' a crime adventure thriller without any deeper thought provoking sub plots. I know one has to 'suspend disbelief' but its always strange that super aware, superhero FBI agents can often miss such obvious traps/plots. Still a good read
