About this ebook

Even when death plagues the finish line, the race must go on

The annual canoe race was always the summer's biggest event, and this year the prize would be more prestigious than ever. Big enough, it seemed, to rate national press and bring television cameras to the sleepy village nestled along river’s bend. For a town like Harmony, a little media attention is a lot to handle, which might be why someone decided to kill the executive producer of the event.

If that isn’t enough, abnormal weather patterns threaten the race, leading Mag to suspect the pesky Hagatha Crow is up to something. Again.

In order to solve the case, sister witches Mag and Clara Balefire might have to test the old myths about whether witches can swim.

If you like your witches to come with a heaping dollop of sarcasm and wit, you'll love this humorous magical story full of chaos and intrigue.

This is a full-length, humorous witch cozy mystery novel.

About the author

I’m ReGina Welling, author and artist from somewhere just north of the boonies in Maine. I live with my wonderful hubby, a goofy flufferpup named Dash, and a feisty cat called Cricket.

For fun, I whip up stories that’ll whisk you away to magical places or have you on the edge of your seat with a nail-biting mystery.

My mom always said I was born knowing how to read and while that might be a stretch, it feels like the ability just seeped into my pores and made itself at home. Naturally, that love of books translated into a love of writing.

I’d love to hear from you so shoot me an email! [email protected]

I'm Erin Lynn, and I'm a fiction author from no-place-you've-ever-heard-of, Maine.

I inherited the trait of expressing myself most effectively via the written word from my mother, who is ReGina Welling, author of the "Psychic Seasons" and "Earthbound" series of novels. She's also the co-author of the "Ponderosa Pines" mysteries, the "Fate Weaver" series, the "Elder Witch" mysteries, and the "Haunted Everly After" mysteries.

I enjoy reading, drinking coffee, bird-watching, and procrastinating. My life is made complete by my two hilarious teenage sons, my adorable chocolate lab, and three mischievous kitties.

Follow me for unputdownable, romantic, sometimes paranormal, always cozy mysteries.
