I laughed out loud so many times while reading this that I had to go sit in a room alone until I was done. This tale was priceless on so many levels. Langlais’ vibrant and at times snarky writing suits her characters perfectly. Her alien mercenaries are sizzling hot with personalities that both annoy and endear you to them. Because of the different (yet completely catchy) vibe and plot of this story the heroine does have a bit of a different feel from many of Langlais’ characters, but it fits perfectly into this story. That said, having read the rest of the series is a must to get the full enjoyment out of this tale. I love the anatomical differences and compatibilities between humans and the warriors of Aressotle. It allows everyone to stand out without making things just plain too odd to grasp. This was the perfect dose of purple to make your day. As with all of Langlais’ work it was fun and exciting as a trip out of this world.

Oh What a awesome book. I loved the whole idea of this and the fun of actually being taken from a book reading convention. What more could and book reader fantasize about. Ms Langlais surly let her mind take a trip on the wild side in this great laugh out loud story and the awesome part of including other wonderfully talented authors to be in it made it all the more fun. Because nothing is better then PURPLE!!!!! “Well, well, well. It seems we’ve been invaded, readers,” Eve announced in a husky voice. Cheers met her words. “I wonder which hero, or should I say, mercenary, this bad boy is? Is he acquisition specialist Tren?” “No!” “Perhaps Makl or Dyre?” Bridgette volunteers to help eve run her book convention Romancing the Capital Ottawa and the awesome theme big bad purple who knew that real Kulin would show up and take readers and sadly have rules for the married and ones with children. Phyr mother would not let him pass this chance up she needs grand kids and with women being rare this is the perfect answer. and with Phyr being a acquisition specialist what better way to make money then actuation them off when he gets home or will he. Once Phyr meets Bridgette plans may need to change and be altered. To benefit him and the things he doesn't know he wants. “Oh, I don’t think you should do that. I really shouldn’t be a part of this.” As organizer, she should step aside, even if her heart fluttered. “You are attached to another male?” She shook her head. “No.” “You are of age?” “Yes, but—” “Then you are mine. I claim you for my own.”
