About the author

The author of 'Reading Rainbow', Ishita Bajaj, is a passionate and enthusiastic teacher of English at Delhi Public School, Ranipur, Haridwar. As much as she enjoys her role as the facilitator in the classroom, she also doesn't shy away from the fact that she is still a learner at heart. Ishita learns from her experiences and the learners who bring up new perspectives for her to delve into every day. She is a staunch believer of scaffolding as a medium of teaching, as opposed to the lecture method. She engages learners with her progressive and inductive approach to language learning, which is precisely what she wishes to propagate through this book.
