Rebecca Martin studierte Englisch und Deutsch in Frankfurt am Main und in Dublin, Irland. Ihre Leidenschaft gehört dem Reisen und dem Schreiben. Ihr Roman "Die verlorene Geschichte" gelangte sofort nach Erscheinen auf die SPIEGEL-Bestsellerliste, gefolgt von "Der entschwundene Sommer", "Die geheimen Worte" und "Das goldene Haus" und die "Die vergessene Freundin". Die Autorin lebt mit ihrer Familie in einem kleinen Dorf im Nahetal.
