This is my first experience with piers... my emotions got twisted in circles. I love all of this series, but this first one was the most heart wrenching. Thank you for writing this... this is the first book/series I couldn't put down in 20 years and I was 20 years late reading it. I wish there was more.

Piers Anthony is a wonderful author! I've read countless novels of his. From the Xanth, Adept and, This great series. I read this series first at 15 and now again at 38. Still 23 years later it captures my senses and reality just as it did before. I can't wait to re read my other favorites from Anthony!
