Rescued by Christmas

As soon as I started reading this book it felt like a movie in the making. It was like I stepped onto a movie set and was watching a Hallmark (or Lifetime) movie as it was being made. Santa crashes his car and ends up in a barn...just so happens that when this little boy sees him ...Santa has come to stay for a while. Of course you and me know that it's really Jackson Wilder , a professional singer who has wrecked his car on the way to the mountain cabin he was going to stay at. Miranda O’Keefe is a single mom of a cute 6 year old Ollie who happened to have found said Santa in his barn and Miranda is also a vet and owner of a horse rescue. Sounds like she has her hands full right? You have no idea how full her hands are. I love reading books penned by Erika Marks and this one was not exception. She has given us a wonderful read that filled our hearts not only with Christmas love but also romance for the two characters as well as love between Jackson and Ollie too. It's always so nice to read a good book that showcases a man who loves pre-existing family. Come take a stroll thru the mountains and see why Jackson might now want to be rescued.

Loved this heartwarming Christmas story of believing. Be careful what you wish for? Pop star Jackson Wilder wants some time off to regroup and rents a cabin in the mountains, when a blizzard leaves him stranded in a barn while wearing a Santa suit. Miranda a single mom raising her six year old son, Ollie finds "Santa", Jackson sleeping the barn. Miranda is busy with being a vet and has her horse rescue project. Ollie asks Santa for one wish, to help save one of the rescue horses that is not doing good. Soon a friendship develops between the three of them, each healing in their own ways. This is the perfect sweet romance to read in the afternoon, and you soon will start to believe in miracles. I highly recommend this book.
