This volume addresses issues that are critical to defining a new paradigm for East Asian economic growth. Specifically, the authors examine the strategies adopted in coping with the crisis; policy responses to rectify weaknesses that might have induced or aggravated the crisis; and structural problems to be resolved in order to bring East Asian economies back firmly to a path of long-term growth.
作者简介
• Seiichi Masuyama is Chief Researcher at the Center for Policy Research of the Nomura Research Institute.
• Donna Vandenbrink is economist at the Center for Knowledge Exchange and Creation at Nomura Research Institute and formerly at the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago.
• Chia Siow Yue is Director of the Institute of Southeast Asian Studies in Singapore and was previously Associate Professor of Economics at the National University of Singapore.
