Retribute

Everything about this series has been thought provoking & striking in its own creative style. Alicia Rades has kept me completely engaged & totally enthralled throughout this whole series. I will 100% recommend this series to anyone who likes Magic, Mayhem, Mystery & Suspense. With Friendships, Family, Love, Hope, Sorrow and yes Murder !! Emotionally this storyline tore me asunder many times. It has continued moving & adapting, allowing each plot to gather like tumbleweed in a hurricane. Especially in this finale of the series, Rae & Venn face emotional turmoil, along with with characters I always thought would make it to the end of this final battle don’t. This invoked & stirred strong emotional feelings in me, especially the touching moments. This again highlights how well Alicia Rades can bring her characters to life in a world that has taken something from everyone in this group of shifters & witches who together formed their own family which is stronger than blood, in a world where Vampires are real. Throughout the whole series they have been constantly having to fight one battle then another.” Retribute” finds them having to fight One last battle with no magic and only their wits to help them bring down Mathias after his betrayal shocks them all. They will never be the same again. It was bittersweet to read the last book, but it was an amazing conclusion to this awesome series. The epilogue just about made me cry. It was a great ending that made the tempestuous ride worth while. I would recommend this series in a heartbeat I have loved this storyline, watching Rae the “Ravenite” fight and grow throughout the books. This really is a series that gave me everything I enjoy in a fantasy story and so much more... Alicia Rades has defiantly been added to my must follow author list.

Very sad that Ryland had to die by being torn apart starting from the throat.. but it was still good and I'm glad most of them survived. Recommended if you like these types of things of magic, psychics, etc. Though I still don't get how Rae forgave Venn :p
