REVA SPIRO LUXENBERG began her writing career after she retired as a school social worker. Her favorite protagonist is Sadie Weinstein, the quirky amateur detective featured in four of her books. Sadie makes her laugh and she likes to laugh with her husband, Dr. Edward R. Levenson. They share a villa in Florida with Mordy, a tortoise who eats salads and amazingly gains weight. She is the author of four dramas: Grand Army Plaza, And Then There Was Light, A Flickering Flame, and Recipe For Love. She has also written The Call From Beyond, an anthology of short stories, Native American Fun Crafts, Romantic Calligraphy, and Reflections And Recollections, a collection of stories, memoirs, and poems. She is a contributing writer for the Kings Point News.
