AN entertaining story with a hard hitting protagonist. Got a bit of a noir feel to it. The protagonist is not necessarily "likeable" but you soon become invested in the character, wanting him to succeed. Can't wait to read more. Also, if you haven't done so already, hunt down a copy of "Remo Williams: Unarmed and Dangerous", the movie based on the series. Fred Ward is particularly good as Remo Williams. But be warned, the book and the movie are their own things.

Warren Murphy's books and stories have sold 50 million copies worldwide and won a dozen national awards. He has created a number of book series, including the Trace series and the long-running satiric adventure, The Destroyer.
Richard Ben Sapir worked as an editor and in public relations before creating the Destroyer series with Warren Murphy. Before his untimely death in 1987, Sapir penned a number of thriller and historical mainstream novels.
