One of the most beautiful comics of the recent years. The paint aesthetic is amazing. Story line is about as convoluted as any X-MEN comic, but the plight of the human characters makes the book feel grounded for a comic about the mutant-led apocalypse.

The characters that I detested when I was younger, their progeny, relatives and followers as the heroes and it not only worked it drew me in further with each page, each issue.
