About this eBook

In the stunning conclusion to Anna Carey's epic tale of romance and sacrifice, Eve must choose who to leave behind, who to save, and who to fight in her final stand against the New America.

When Eve lost her soul mate, Caleb, she felt like her world ended. Now, trapped in the palace, as a reluctant bride and unhappy princess, Eve's entire life is a lie.

The only thing that keeps her going is Caleb's memory—and the revolution he started. Eve plots to destroy the New America, beginning with the capital, the City of Sand. Will she be able to bring about a new, free world when she's called upon to perform the ultimate act of rebellion—killing her father, the King?

Incredible read, just like the other two. You'll enjoy this series if you loved hunger games. Things seem to come to Eve a little too easily, but isn't that what fiction is all about? I love the variety of characters. I love how Eve progresses throughout the series and how she decides to just do what needs to be done. As for the ending... SPOILERS! (Though I'll try to be vague) I kept holding out hope for that ending. The issue had not satisfactorily been resolved. As the author began leading up to the end, I was so excited, I could feel it coming, but then- the book was over in the next paragraph. Come on! That's all we get? Was she trying to torture us? It's a good thing I have a good imagination, because I rewrote the ending scene in my head and played it over. I can see what the author was going for, but I wish I'd been able to actually read more about that ending moment!

It could have been a lot better. It is an interesting story with a good plot. I feel some parts were skimmed over whereas others could have gone further into detail. Also the ending was left open and that definitely needed more of an explanation.

That ending though! It made me cry tears of joy! I really wish the author had gone on to explain a little more but I am so glad she did not end it any sooner.
