There are very few words in this book, but they convey a lot of life. Every sentence seems to be thoughtfully carved to convey a deep meaning, or a thought that lingers with you long time after you have read the book. i wonder how many edits this has gone through, because this kind of simplicity and conciseness is not easy to achieve. It''s a very uncomplicated book, and there's is something for everyone. Awesome work Ritu!!

This is a book that I was able to instantly connect to probably because I was able to relate to all the four topics. Ritu nailed it! With beautiful pictures and prose/poetry that bared it all... there is no pretence and kudos for being so bold! I was teary eyed by the end and was traveling along with you through the book! The parenting pics tug your heart, for parenting is the most rewarding experience :) I am sure she will be able to strike a chord with every reader! Way to go Ritu and wishing you the best for many more such coffee table books!

Loved it The author brings brilliant insights into everyday life and its tribulation. It's a combination of excellent photographs, captured on life's journey linked to incidences at critical life stages and the choices to be made. It brings new dimensions every time you go back to any page and read or look at the illustration or even try and connect the text and the illustration. A brave book waiting for more to come.. Cheers to life

About the author

An Engineer and MBA by qualification, Rituparna believes her education has served her well by giving her the courage to choose offbeat means of living for two decades - from serving in the Indian Air Force in its second batch of women engineers to co-owning a cookie shop to championing operational excellence for corporate giants. A three-time award winning run-in-costume designer at Bengaluru’s World 10K event, Rituparna also ran a few half marathons and is currently focusing on music and creative writing. Her poem features in an anthology ‘Po’try’, and is forthcoming in ‘Indian Literature’. She resides in Bengaluru, India with her husband, Rajat, and 5-year old son, Vihaan. After experiencing the joy Vihaan bought into her life, Rituparna became an advocate for adoption. She can be reached at [email protected]
