Om forfatteren

Sir Walter Scott (1771–1832) was a poet, translator, playwright, and historical novelist, born in Edinburgh, Scotland. Although he was critically acclaimed for his poetry, his passion for Scottish oral tradition led him to write novels inspired by the history of his country.
