Let go because God knows what's best. The reason why Christians read all these books is because they need to learn to trust God. Why do most live by the world's standards? Because it's the flesh. The holy spirit is the guide into trusting God. Do as Jesus did. People still hung on to him because they wanted what he was. Why did Mary sit at his feet? She sat at his feet because she wanted to learn from him. People gravitated towards him because they wanted what he was. God's Spirit woos unbelievers & believers who truly want God but Christians have to do likewise get to God and be released from what holds them back. Sinners need to be saved. We can't sit on our bums. We must seek God for our deliverances. Once we see the unhealthiness of others then we have to learn not to hang around them. Jesus wasn't friends with everyone. He had 12 disciples and the rest were acquaintances. Jesus the best role model of how to walk with God. People aren't perfect but God is!
