About this ebook

After a search of over twenty years, one of America's most elusive serial killers was finally apprehended. Now, read the true story of one man's attempt to get inside se mind of the Green River Killer

July 15, 1982: 3 woman's strangled body was filed, caught on the pilings of Washington state's Green River. Before long, the "Green River Killer" would be suspected in at least forty-nine more homicides, with no end in sight. Then the authorities received an unbelievable letter from the infamous serial killer Ted Bundy -- then on Florida's death row -- offering to help catch the Green River Killer. But he would only talk to one man: Robert Keppel, the former homicide detective who had helped track Bundy's cross-county killing spree.

Now these conversations are revealed, in which Bundy speculates about the motive and methods of the Green River Killer -- and reveals his own twisted secrets as well. Now, as never before, we look into the face of evil...and into the heart of a killer.

Written by a detective in excruciating detail. It contains an incredible amount of information and all laid out like it would be In a crime report. If your after a tall tale written in the style of a story then I'd say look elsewhere. However if you're after a comprehensive study of Bundy, Ridgway and serial killers in general then have at it.

This book demonstrates that extending Bundy's life would have given us much more information on unknown victims and more details on known ones. For example, Bundy needed more time and patience to confess about Hawkings and the youngest victims. As described by Shonda Stapley, his M.O. was different from what he admitted. We could have known so much more also about his childhood traumas, a common trait shared by all serial killers. We still know very little about what we can do to treat them while they are still young.

Very good read, very informative and interesting. It really focused on Ted Bundy more than Gary Ridgeway (The Riverman). All first hand accounts of Bundy, reads more like second hand accounts of Ridgeway,
