About the author

With graduate training in theology and psychology, Robert Leslie Holmes, D.Min., Ph.D., has a national reputation as a preacher and teacher, author, and advisor to business leaders across America. In addition, he has lectured and spoken in conferences, universities and churches on six continents. He is the author of several books and numerous articles in professional journals and has been a frequent inspirational speaker to corporate America.


He holds the John H. Leith Professorship in theology and is Dean of Erskine’s Institute for Reformed Worship at Erskine Theological Seminary. Prior to entering academia Dr. Holmes served churches in Mississippi, Georgia, South Carolina, Florida, California, and Pennsylvania.
