I originally started reading this as a history requirement but then I couldn't put it down. It is simply amazing! The first chapter or so can be a bit difficult to read (because of the dialogue being old english and the frequent and odd exclamations they used) but once you pass that you get immersed in the story and can't put it down. This is going on my all time favorites list!

Read this when I was 12 and really liked it, but noticed a free copy on Google play so I decided to read it again. It's even better the second time around. DCS
