About this ebook

“An enthralling conclusion to this superb trilogy, displaying an exceptional combination of originality, magic, adventure, character, and drama.”—Kirkus Reviews (starred review)

King Shrewd is dead at the hands of his son Regal. As is Fitz—or so his enemies and friends believe. But with the help of his allies and his beast magic, he emerges from the grave, deeply scarred in body and soul. The kingdom also teeters toward ruin: Regal has plundered and abandoned the capital, while the rightful heir, Prince Verity, is lost to his mad quest—perhaps to death. Only Verity’s return—or the heir his princess carries—can save the Six Duchies.

But Fitz will not wait. Driven by loss and bitter memories, he undertakes a quest: to kill Regal. The journey casts him into deep waters, as he discovers wild currents of magic within him—currents that will either drown him or make him something more than he was.

I read a book every 3 days, fantasy being 90% of that. This was by far the hardest struggle I've ever had. I suppose the incesent self loathing is meant to bind us closer to their struggle... It made me read every 3rd page and hope I was done with it. If your reading this review unfortunately you've already read 2 good books and are thinking "it can't be that bad"... This book will sap your will to read again. Not poorly written, but draaaaaags on to a 20 page "everything is good" ending. Painful experience

I found Robin Hobbs by accident The first book had me hooked quickly his writing style is amazing he brought the characters to life and I believe that I knew them and watch them grow I was very sorry to finish the third book and very rarely does Is a writer able to close a story is well as Mr Hobbs finished the Farseer trilogy. I believe that Robin may have the ability to continue the Farseer books And I truly hope he does so

The book was so depressing, and the ending so traumatizing, that I still can't read any book that is drak fantasy. I hate this book. Don't read it. If you have read every book until now, just conjure something in your mind and it will definitely be better than what the author wrote.
