Nachdem ihre ersten Romane für sich stehende Geschichten waren, entdeckte sie in den neunziger Jahren ihre Leidenschaft für Serien, deren Schauplätze hauptsachlich in Großbritannien, auf den Kanarischen Inseln oder in Griechenland liegen. Gemeinsam mit ihrem Ehemann Donald und ihrem Sohn Keith lebte sie, bis zu ihrem Tod 2001, in Braughing in England.
