"वामपंथी एजेंडे को मज़बूत बनाने के लिए रोमिला का योगदान " वास्तव में य़ह शीर्षक होना चाहिए था इस किताब का। दुर्भाग्य है कि ऐसे लोगों को हिन्दुस्तान में इतिहासकार कहा जाता है। पूर्णतः दरबारी इतिहासकार द्वारा लिखित पुस्तक.. इससे तो मध्यकालीन इतिहासकार भी अच्छा लिखे थे।
