About the author

Ronika Khanna is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), Chartered Accountant (CA), and Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), and the founder of Montreal Financial, an accounting, tax and financial consulting services business. After having worked as an accounting professional for several companies, both in Canada and Bermuda, including PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) and ING Risk Management Limited, she decided to launch her own business, focusing primarily on the accounting, tax, and financial needs of small business owners, start-ups, and independent contractors.

She has helped numerous small businesses with their financial, accounting and tax reporting over the years, which has allowed them to run their businesses more effectively and profitably. She wrote this book to try and help small business owners gain a better understanding of their tax obligations and provide guidance to those who want to do it themselves.
