Lovely BBW Story I have read and greatly enjoyed other books in this series, but I particularly liked this book. As a lifelong overweight woman myself, I could appreciate the heroine’s struggle with very real fat prejudice out there, both in the professional and personal realms. I do wish, however, that the author didn't play to some of the stereotypes, like having her binge on marshmallows after she didn't get a job. Personally, I'm a stress non-eater! Both the hero and heroine suffer from acceptance issues, the hero because of his hearing loss. I like that this book explores how society can treat people because of visible differences, like weight and deafness (using ASL is visual and noticeable). The couple is an unlikely pair on the surface but would actually have a profound understanding of the other's plight. I particularly like the hero, who is genuinely kind-hearted and an all-around decent guy. Perfect for a heroine who is still struggling with her issues. A good romance and a good story. I received a free copy of this book, but that did not affect my review.
