Enter the Grishaverse with Book Three of the Shadow and Bone Trilogy by the #1 New York Times–bestselling author of Six of Crows and Crooked Kingdom.

Soldier. Summoner. Saint. The nation’s fate rests with a broken Sun Summoner, a disgraced tracker, and the shattered remnants of a once-great magical army.

The Darkling rules from his shadow throne while a weakened Alina Starkov recovers from their battle under the dubious protection of the zealots who worship her as a Saint. Now her hopes lie with the magic of a long-vanished ancient creature and the chance that an outlaw prince still survives.

As her allies and enemies race toward war, only Alina stands between her country and a rising tide of darkness that could destroy the world. To win this fight, she must seize a legend’s power—but claiming the firebird may be her ruin.

This boom started slow. However, I felt for the Darkling. I felt he wanted to be loved, accepted, and with someone who recognized him on a basic level. Him and Alina I believed had potential. They were both hot heated and that was what drew thme together for me. Now for Mal and Alina that love was innocent and true, no need to use power or seduction to lure her.... A great, yet sad ending.

This book was beyond amazing! This series as a whole was beyond amazing! I read Six of Crows after hearing about it from a friend and I loved it. Afterward, I figured I may as well give this series a shot since it takes place in the same world. Boy did I not regret it. I finished this series in one week. One week! This series had everything. Action, drama, compelling characters, and so much more. It made me laugh, it made me cry, it even made me flinch! How does a book series do that?! It's just words on a page! This series is definitely worth reading. I loved every second of it. Especially, the ending. This ending was so conclusive, detailed, and filled with closure. Those are things I look for in book series and this one brought it home. Seriously, this ending was handled so well! I've seen book series with 7 books that didn't do an ending this good. *cough cough* MICHAEL VEY *cough cough*. Anyways, this trilogy is amazing. I strongly recommend it. Loved every second of it.

I loved this trilogy as much as if not more than the twilight saga. I burned through all three books in four days! Great storytelling by Leigh Bardugo. I was so sad when I reached the end :'(
