Nachdem Ella nachts bei Regen mit ihrem Motorroller von einem Auto abgedrängt und in den Straßengraben geschlittert ist, erwacht sie erst wieder mit mehreren Knochenbrüchen im Krankenhaus. Da erscheint Miryam erneut als rettender Engel, kümmert sich um Inka und die Rechnung und holt Ella zur Pflege kurzerhand zu sich nach Hause, eine Prachtvilla mit Personal. Doch schon bald fühlt sich Ella trotz aller Fürsorge nicht mehr wohl, denn es schweben dunkle Wolken über den stilvollen Mauern. Und immer mehr nagt an Ella die Frage, warum die Hausherrin sich so fürsorglich um sie kümmert – was in aller Welt ist Miryams Geheimnis?
