I was caught from the first page, as Nora wonders why she has been invited, out of the blue, to the hen party of a friend she's not seen for ten years. Someone has mentioned that it was obvious from the start who the killer was, but there were so many twists that I found it difficult to decide. One of those I hurried through the day for, so I could read it at leisure.

This book kept my interest right to the end. Loved the psychological insights and the drama between the friends and the "frenemies". I did guess some of the plot, but that didn't spoil the story at all for me ... more a case of ah! I thought so! I found it gripping and a definite psychological thriller! Was drawn in by the blurb on the back and by wanting to find out what had happened between the two friends. Enjoyed it as much as Gone Girl and I Let You Go

This is a reasonable story, but lacking in believability. The murder is a let down too. This book feels like a poor replica of a good murder mystery.
