Aaaannnddd – Riley is in love! No, he really fell that fast, and he had no defense against sweet, sweet Ellie. That was perfect though, because Ellie needed to be loved, and even though he messed it all up before he could correctly convince her, when it counted in the end, she realized what he knew all along. Riley loved Ellie and would choose her every single time. Having a loving family come along with him was simply the icing on the cake. Some great suspense, some wonderful characters, and a lovely love story at the centre of it all <3

Ruthless by Lexi Blake is the first book in her brand new series Lawless. It is an erotic and steamy tale filled with plot twists and turns and suspense that will leave you avidly turning each page just ready to devour more and more and more of Riley and Ellie's story as well as the entire Lawless clan. Ellie is the target - she has done anything wrong but the sins of the father will be visited upon his daughter. The Lawless siblings are out for revenge and she is part of their end goal. They don't realize that she knows how terrible her father was and is nothing like him, not until it's too late anyway. Riley has a mission - get close to and infiltrate the life of Ellie Stratton in order to allow their revenge plan to be successful. What Riley doesn't expect and pretty much gets blindsided by is his bone deep attraction to Ellie. That was never part of the plan and now the plan must change. But with years of planning in the works will this cause everything to fail catastrophically? Amazing book, well-written and well-paced with characters you just want more of, like all the time, more! I loved it and cannot wait for the next book (Brandon's story), Satisfaction expected in January 2017.
