Ruthless Knight

This is my FAVORITE book in the series! I feel like I say that for each of these books, but I like each one more than the last! All of the stories have a gripping plot that pulls you right along, excellent imagery, and more twists than a pretzel. Oh, and steam. LOTS of steam. SO so happy that Nolan finally found his mate! But finding her was the easy part; this story took off from there, and honestly it seemed impossible that Nolan and Tamryn would be able to keep their Happily Ever After. Seriously, once they found the other dragons, I wasn't sure anyone would make it out alive. (Vague on purpose, no spoilers!) I really liked the honesty in this book. Because of who she was and where she came from, Tamryn simply did not know certain things, and she was honest about that. Also, she was honest about her thoughts and feelings. She (thankfully) didn't do that thing that a lot of heroines do, where they frustratingly keep something a secret, which causes a misunderstanding, etc. This story also doesn't have one of those man-hating heroines who refuses to accept any help from anyone, especially a male. Again, due to circumstances I shall not disclose, Tamryn was vulnerable and she knew it, but she accepted help from Nolan when she needed it. Just like we all do; accept help when we need it. Now that I'm down from my soapbox, the bottom line is if you like original shifter romances with great story lines, then THESE are the books for you! (I was given this book in consideration of my honest thoughts)

Princess Tamryn woke suddenly in the night, knowing someone was in her room! Finally the witch, Illary, identified herself and told her they were under attack. The Queen ordered Illary to use her binding spell on Tamryn along with her betrothed Prince Charles from another Dragon Kingdom and as many more as she could while the castle guards held the attackers back. Tamryn heard the skin-hunters break into her parents’ room and knew they were now dead. Illary bound her in a magical sphere so that the last of dragon-kind would be saved. Over two centuries later, polar bear shifter Nolan of Rock Creek Clan, tore apart a cairn to reveal the sphere. When he touched it, a beautiful red-haired woman appeared in its place and finally her heart began to beat. With her enemies still pursuing the Queen of the dragons, Polar bear shifter Nolan will need to protect her. Can he keep her safe? Can he stop his heart from falling in love with her? This was a good story with a bit of suspense as Tamryn is put in danger of death from the skin-hunters. The story line was well-paced, and the reader remained intrigued waiting to see the outcome. Grab your copy and enjoy a well-told tale.

I love this series and every book seems to get better and better and with this book Nolan's story the author literately knocks it out of the park Nolan is hardened in battle and isn't that impressed when he is asked by his alpha to protect a mysterious woman who has asked for the help of the Rock Creek Clan. She is the woman he found when he broke a cairn open She is a dragon princess placed in a sphere to keep her alive when her entire clan including her parents where wiped out. Now she is in a world that she doesn't understand with the old enemy still after her and a man protecting her who she feels a bond with she can't explain. Can these two survive and will they realise that they are meant for one another. With danger circling and her fiance still in the wind do they have a future together You will have to read to see
