Magic Stone Gourmet: Eating Magical Power Made Me The Strongest

I don't know why they had a random scene from later on in the book as the prologue... kind of put me off to the book at first tbh. I'm glad I stuck with it. It was a very nice read, it gives a nice content feeling throughout. The female characters in this novel are so perfectly pure hearted, warm, and wholesome... truly women you would only find in fantasy. It was extremely refreshing. My one gripe is the way the cat girl's dialogue was translated. I understand using "meow" to simulate the meowing way of talking they have when they say similar syllables. but that doesn't mean you can just litter her dialogue with cat puns to the point it's annoying to figure out what she is actually supposed to be saying. It doesn't make sense either. Meowing whilst saying words that sound similar to meows has nothing to do with puns... It was actually extremely aggravating. I also feel jipped that we didn't even get a kiss... ....I hope the mom takes root in him. huehuehue

Enjoyable. I wish they'd done a time skip or just made him slightly older through these events. He's 6 years old and I feel like the author even forgets that at times. 🤭

Quite the enjoyable new series. I'm looking forward to the next volume. Not too much in the way of action in this volume. But the world building was sound and well paced.
