About this ebook

The literal translation of Baithal Pachisi is the 'twenty five tales of the Goblin'. The Baithal Pachisi is a lovely collection of folk stories from Bharat. It is believed that these were the twenty five tales narrated by Vetala, a goblin and Vetala narrated the stories to King Vikramaditya, one of the greatest kings of the world.

Raja Bhoja or King Bhoja is another famous king from Bharat. He was a descendant of Vikramaditya.

This is a collection of stories from the Hindu Puranas which explain the connection between Raja Bhoja and the Baithal Pachisi.
