In this fast paced military romance, Mason and his comrades rescue his deceased team member's sister Tesla, not once but four times over. Tesla has developed software that is wanted by the enemies of the US almost as much as it is needed at home. Tesla is made of stern stuff having been brought up by her military father and her brother Harry, and she stays calm whilst in captivity. Despite her vulnerability and pain, she manages to keep with the team of SEALs that rescue her. Mason had always been fascinated by Harry's stories about his sister and when Harry is killed in action, Mason feels himself drawn to Tesla. However he is as surprised as his friends when he realises that it is Tesla they have rescued. This exciting novel kept my interest from the opening pages right through to the end, as Tesla keeps on having to evade capture and the romance between Mason and herself grows. Tesla's feisty attitude and ability to survive gain the admiration of the team mates, and the attraction between the hero and heroine is sweet in the midst of the tension. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and the excitement that it generated.

Mason is part of an elite SEAL team that takes on the dangerous jobs no one else wants to do – or can do, so he’s usually focused and dedicated until he rescues a woman he can’t have but can’t forget in this thrilling military romance. Tesla developed a program to help save US soldiers’ lives but there are others out there that will stop at nothing to get their hands on it and Tesla and the readers can’t help but get pulled into all the danger that surrounds Tesla and with time running out, pressures build lots of exhilarating tension. The attraction between Tesla and Mason is sizzling with lots of sweet and spicy heat but the relationship has a few obstacles like the fact that she keeps disappearing and it’s his job to keep her safe. The characters are strong, compelling and demand reader’s attention as this elite SEAL Team tries to keep Tesla alive in this fast paced, smooth flowing plot full of suspense, action and romance. The story starts off with excitement as Mason and his team stages a daring rescue and the action only continues to increase from there with bad guys constantly on their heels, deadly confrontations, betrayals and only sheer grit and determination keeping them alive. The scenes are well written and full of great details that make it easy for the reader to picture each and every scene with all of it being realistic enough that readers get an adrenaline rush right along with the characters. Meeting this team of SEALS is one honor that I’m glad I didn’t miss because not only are they sexy, protective and deadly heroes but Tesla is one heroine that compliments Mason which really adds to the energetic feel of the story and I was held hostage by the story from the very first page and I can’t wait to read the rest of the teams books. 4 ½ STARS

In this story we met Tesla who had developed software that would help protect our troops. Her brother, Harry, was a SEAL who died as a result of an EID and she didn't want others to suffer the same fate. Unfortunately the bad guys wanted this software so they were trying to steal it, kidnapping Tesla to get it. Mason and his team of SEALs were sent to rescue her not knowing who she was or that she's Harry's sister. He had heard about her many times and was half in love with her even though they'd never met. I really liked this great fast paced story. It's got everything I like in a book - SEALs, action, romance and suspense. We see a lot of action when the bad guys just won't give up their pursuit of Tesla and keep kidnapping her. That may have gone over the top a bit with the number of times she was abducted. I liked the constant questions of will she make it to the presentation of her software? Who is after her? Will Mason tell her how he feels? The characters were well developed and likable. Tesla is a strong, intelligent woman who does go missing a lot but there really wasn't anything she could do about that. Mason's a SEAL so what can I say about him? He's able to do just about anything (like a SEAL is suppose to) so he, and his team, save Tesla time and time again. He's also a big, handsome man so that helps us like him even more. I'm so glad to have received this book in exchange for an honest review and want to read the rest of the series.
