About this ebook

Grady’s new role might surprise his old friends, he never used to be one for commitments or obligations of any kind – especially not with a female.

But since his niece, Ava, came to live with him, he’s getting the hang of being a single dad. It’s not easy, and he doesn’t always get it right. But he loves that little girl with all his heart, and he’s determined to give her the best life he can.

He doesn’t have time for dating – not that he ever used to date much. He preferred his commitments to last for a night-time rather than a lifetime.

So, when an old friend challenges him to get a picture with a beautiful woman they see at the airport, it’s just a bit of fun. He can flirt, safe in the knowledge that he’ll never see her again. Until it turns out that she’s from Napa – and she’s on her way home.

Hannah’s had enough of life in LA. She moved there to escape from the pressure that comes with being a member of the Jacobs family. Her name is a national brand, and the family estate is a well-known landmark in wine country. But she’d still rather come back than deal with LA anymore.

She might have embarrassed herself with a sexy stranger at the airport on the way home, but that was probably just a reminder that she should steer clear of men for a while.

Except she keeps running into Grady and his adorable niece. And it turns out that he’s not the man she thought he was.

Pick up your copy of this heartwarming holiday romance today to follow Grady, Hannah, and Ava as they try to give each other the best Christmas ever – with a little help from a puppy, a meddling friend, a couple of newly-recruited uncles, and of course, some mistletoe.

Grady’s life has completely changed since his niece, Ava, moved in with him. Ava has captured Grady’s heart and soul and he would do anything to help her over her unhappy past. He hasn’t dated recently but with a chance meeting in the airport, Hannah Jacobs has turned his world upside down. The instant connection has them both questioning their thoughts and feelings. Add in Grady’s best friend, Molly, who loves to meddle, their close set of friends, the wealthy Jacobs Family, and a puppy named Scooter, life won’t ever be the same. It’s a beautifully written, emotional story as it evolves. Can’t wait to read the coming books about the Jacobs brothers! A fantastic holiday read!

I am not surprised that I loved this book. SJ's writing has a way of really pulling you into the story. You will instantly fall in love with these characters. This is book 5 in this series. You can read this as a stand alone but the thing I like best about her books is that previous characters reappear in her other stories, I love that we still get to hear from them, so to get the full benefit of that you may want to start at the beginning. I am so excited that there will be more stories coming in this series. If you haven't read SJs stories yet definitely check them out. I received an ARC for my honest review of this book

I really enjoyed reading this book, catching up with Grady and his adorable niece. When we first encountered him in Molly's he seemed your average single guy with nothing more to him than an interest in enjoying the girls. How wrong could we be? He's turned out to have a depth of character and a great sense of responsibility.

About the author

Hi, I'm SJ, a coffee addict, lover of chocolate and drinker of good red wines. I'm a lost soul and a hopeless romantic. Reading and writing are necessary parts of who I am. Though perhaps not as necessary as coffee! I can drink coffee without writing, but I can't write without coffee.

I grew up loving romance novels, my first boyfriends were book boyfriends, but life intervened, as it tends to do, and I wandered down the paths of non fiction for many years. My life changed completely a couple of years ago and I returned to Romance to find my escape.

I write 'Sweet n Steamy' stories because to me there is enough angst and darkness in real life. My favorite romances are happy escapes with a focus on fun, friendships and happily-ever-afters, just like the ones I write.

These days I live in beautiful Montana, the last best place. If I'm not reading or writing you'll find me just down the road in the park - Yellowstone. I have deer, eagles and the occasional bear for company, and I like it that way.
