Firefly Raine
This series has been the same through the first 3 books: start really good, stop. Boring. Then start being good again. Stop. Boring. Start being good again & just when I was really getting into it...the end. This book was more prickly, lonely, edgy without explaining why. Both main characters were nervy & tense. Like they didn't like each other anymore. I luv Elise. But I'm confused at how she went from a super bad ass fighter with a good sense of humor to this.

It was an okay sequel, but more of a novella, and I finished it in less than a day. It is not really a stand alone, so reading the earlier book is a must. I doubt that I will read any more of the series if there are any.

This series is a universe. One you have to explore. Its characters are amazing and evoke real response. Every time I read it I learn more. Love more. Hate more. Reine is the master of urban fantasy.
