This is a follow-up to Playing With Fire, where we meet Samantha and Randy again after they snuck off to have some naughty fun at the grand opening of Burrata Pizza and Pasta. Randy’s a gorgeous (fire)man about town whom all the ladies swoon over, but he meets his match in the sassy Sam who won’t go down without a fight! Sparks fly, and thank God there’s a first responder on call because this situation calls for a professional. No cheating, no cliffhangers, and always a HEA for my readers.

I enjoyed this short story. It was about Sam and Randy, who was a firefighter, and the guy that ghosted on Sam after their first time together. This story was fun and steamy and had a couple of funny things that happened in it. I really liked both the characters and also the naughty things that they got in to. I can't wait to read Jethro's story next and find out what happens to him! I received a review copy of this book and am leaving a voluntary honest review.

Sam is a little upset that the man she had sex with by the dumpster hasn’t called her. Sam is friends with Maggie. Maggie is married to Ed and they have a daughter named Dahlia. Maggie and Ed also have a restaurant Burrata Pizza and Pasta, the restaurant that Sam had sex outside of. Randy is a firefighter in Cedar Toms. He was Mr. January in the latest firefighter calendar. Randy is 42 and he enjoyed having sex with Sam who is 20. That’s the problem Randy thinks the age difference is too much so
