Mr. Saad A. Mahir, an esteemed professional in power stations, oil, and gas, graduated from the University of Technology in Baghdad in 1978. With a career spanning twenty-four years in the Iraqi Ministry of Oil, the author's expertise shines through. Notably, during their tenure with the Oil Projects Company (SCOP), a division of the Ministry of Oil, the author successfully executed numerous oil projects. One such project was the construction of the Iraqi Oil Pipeline Through Saudi territory, completed between 1984 and 1989, alongside several other significant undertakings. Following retirement from the ministry, the author transitioned to the private sector, assuming the role of project manager for power stations and oil and gas projects for over fifteen years. Notable achievements during this period include the rehabilitation of gas turbine units at the gas compressor station in Basra and the power station of the seventh station of West Qurna field, both located in Basra. These accomplishments, among others, have left an indelible mark on Iraq's energy infrastructure.
