About the author

Sajad Hussain Parey is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Zoology, Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University Rajouri, India. He has published more than 60 research articles in national and international journals of repute & has described more than a hundred new species of caddisflies from Indian Himalayas. He has also published 04 authored books with national and international book publishing houses. He has visited different universities & research institutions across the globe like in the USA, Thailand, KSA & Austria related to his research work. Dr Parey has received extramural grants from several Indian funding bodies, including NMHS, SERB, J&K IC & ST and UGC.

Zahid Hussain is pursuing Ph.D. in Entomology from the Department of Zoology,, Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University, Rajouri, Jammu and Kashmir, India. He has completed his M.Sc. in Zoology from Dr. B. R. Ambedkar University Agra, India. He is working on the Systematics and Phylogenetic studies of the caddisflies of the North-West Himalayas in India. He has published many research articles in reputed journals. He is also the author of many book chapters. He also worked as Research Fellow under NMHS-MoEF & CC, Govt. of India sponsored project.

Aquib Majeed is pursuing Ph. D in Entomology from the Department of Zoology at Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University Rajouri, India. He has completed his M. Sc. in Zoology from Jiwaji University, Gwalior, India. He is working on the caddisflies of the North-Western Himalayas. Mr. Aquib has published many research articles and book chapters in reputed national and international journals and presented his research at more than 15 national and international conferences and workshops. He has worked as Project Associate in various Research Projects sanctioned by various research agencies of Govt. of India such as NMHS and SERB.
